Weather in South Tyrol

Low stratus clouds will lie over many valleys and the sun will only appear in places. However, it will remain dry in most of the region.

The lower layers of the atmosphere will remain very humid with southerly high-currents.
Low stratus clouds will often obstruct visibility, whereas the sun will often shine in the high mountains. It will remain mild.

A cold front will reach the Alpine region and will pass over South Tyrol in the course of the evening.
Clouds will severely restrict visibility in all mountain groups and rain is to be expected on some mountains in the first half of the day. There will be precipitation everywhere in the afternoon and evening. On the main alpine ridge, the snow line will drop to around 1400 m, in the south to around 1900 m.

The weather will improve on Monday. The clouds will clear and it will be sunny throughout the region. Tuesday will be very sunny and mostly cloudless. Sunny weather is expected also on Wednesday with some cirrus clouds. On Thursday, sunshine and high clouds will alternate.
